About Jeff Kaplan, MD, FACS, RVPI

Dr. Jeff Kaplan is a board-certified fellowship vascular surgeon who has been in practice since 1991. He is a graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont. His medical school training was at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Kaplan did his residency in General surgery at University of Vermont. His fellowship in Vascular Surgery was at Scripps Clinic and Research Center in La Jolla, CA. He has the skills necessary to treat any problem from small to large with excellent functional and cosmetic results. At Scripps he received extensive experience in both arterial and venous disease. He was one of the very first doctors in the Bay Area to perform endovascular, video assisted, and minimally invasive approaches to venous disease. He has been featured on Dr. Dean Edell's medical show highlighting new venous treatments.�Dr. Kaplan is Director of the Regional Medical Center Wound Care Center and has extensive experience dealing with severe wounds secondary to venous disease.
